It’s my way of saying, “Hey, finding cyber and tech volunteer gigs shouldn’t be this hard.”

I’m Blain Hailemariam, and I’m currently transitioning into a career in cybersecurity. Along the way, I’ve volunteered at amazing conferences, joined powerful communities, and met mentors who’ve shaped my path. Those experiences fueled my momentum, strengthened my confidence, and made it clear that I belong here.

But getting there wasn’t easy. I spent hours scrolling through forums, feeling like I should be doing more but not knowing where to start. 

That’s why I created ServeCyber, a hub to help you skip the noise and get straight to the good stuff: real volunteer opportunities that align with your goals, your interests, and your time.
